CUSTOMIZATION
Each piece of art I produce is custom-made. I offer a variety of media and techniques you may choose from when you place your order. If you have any questions, please visit my FAQ page or use the Contact tab to send me a message. I would be happy to answer your questions or make a recommendation.
MEDIA OPTIONS
The medium is the type of art and materials used. The supplies I use can totally transform the outcome of the piece, as they vary greatly in style and looks. Below are the different media options I offer.
COLORED PENCIL DRAWING
This is my favorite medium by far, and allows me to make the most realistic drawing. The colored pencils I use are of the highest quality available. They have great "light fastness," meaning the work will last a very long time.
WATERCOLOR
For my watercolor artwork, I use both watercolor paints and professional watercolor pencils. If you want a more spontaneous-looking piece that still appears realistic, this medium's for you!
PEN & INK DRAWING
A pen drawing is probably your best choice if you're looking for a black and white drawing. The supplies are simple, but the result will look realistic and professional.
PET'S NAME
Want to personalize your custom work even more? Just select this option on the order form, and I will add your pet's name to your drawing in my original pen-hand style calligraphy.
BACKGROUND OPTIONS
On the order form, I ask if you would like a background. If so, you can select "Yes, you design it!" if you know you'd like one but aren't exactly sure what it should be. Select "Custom Background" instead if you have a specific idea. Be sure to explain your idea in the text space below it.

NUMBER OF ANIMALS
Yes, you can have more than one animal in an individual piece! For an 11"x14" drawing, the limit is two animals per piece. On 18"x24" paper, I can draw one to five animals. I do charge more for each additional animal. For pricing, visit the FAQ page.
SIZE
I default to 11"x14" or 18"x24" art paper. I use these sizes so that you can easily and inexpensively find a frame for your pet commission once you receive it. If you're unsure about sizing or have a special request, you can shoot me any questions through the Contact tab.
TYPE OF ANIMAL
That's right, your pet doesn't have to be a dog or cat! I love trying new things, and have drawn lots of different animals before. Here are some of my more recent examples.
